Hi. My name is Kathryn. I went by Kathryn and only Kathryn until a cute boy in a band started calling me Kat. I like cats and have a tattoo of a cat on my ankle, so it stuck.I live with my husband and two year old son. I have one cats and two dogs. Motherhood has changed me tremendously and I’m (mostly) OK with that.I believe at the end of my life I will regret having not done something more than I will regret anything I actually did. I try to live my life accordingly.The name of this site is derived from an acting term called the “magic if”. An actor thinks about what they would do if they were in a situation and uses this knowledge to decide what his character would do. I used to be a theatre geek. Now I’m just a geek. I used to spell it katymagic. Now it’s katiemagic. I’m fickle like that. I lived in Texas for 28 of my 30 years and now live I in Bellingham, WA.Don’t expect proper grammar or perfect spelling. This site, like me, can be messy.
